I started with 5 empty quart paint cans (SEI). Then I went to the web and kidnapped the little dutch boy. I brought him back to my computer where I maimed him and then slit his throat. I confess there may have been some giggling involved.
Using Paintshop Pro 8 I made the labels. Since a lot of it was trial and error ( and about 40 different font changes) I can't give the exact steps. When I was happy with them I printed them out.
The "contents" of the cans were fake blood, acrylic paints, some ancient Great Stuff that no longer puffs up and in the case of the vomit, some chopped up pecans for texture.
I got one of those skinny models to pose with them and the Chopping Channel was born.

Thanks for fixing the photos. They are kinda stretched though, is there a particular size I should redo them?

Hmmm.... They don't look stretched on my monitor Ghostess. I pulled them directly from your photo gallery on here. This site drives me mad!! Does anyone else see stretching? Hard for me to fix since I can't see it. Arrrrrrrrrgggggggg!!

I thought paint cans would be hard to use in a prop as actual paint can's. Great idea!
