It took me most of this month to come up with a workable idea using an old paint can. (SEI) Hopefully, a little beginners luck will help me out with this contest, lol. Here is my submission. For want of a better name, I call it the miniature skull fountain. Basically, it is a gallon paint can inside a larger vessel, with a fountain from one of those little fountain things that women love so much. (I call them "Serenity Fountains") I ran a piece of clear plastic tubing from the fountain through a small hole drilled in the bottom of the paint can, then through a hole drilled through a $1.99 styrofoam skull from Wal-mart. After getting the length right, I measured out another 1/2" of tubing and cut it. I pulled the small amount of slack back through the skull until it was flush, and put a small dab of latex caulk around the edge of it, to seal it and keep colored water from seeping back down into the skull. I put water colored with red food coloring in the larger vessel, filling it a little above the edge of the paint can and turned the pump on. Works like a charm! Finished photo:

Ok, well, that's my fountain. I'll try to get a video of it working in the next day or so, so everyone can see how my concept works. Good Luck to my fellow contestants!

Ok, for some reason, my photobucket links showed up as links instead of pictures...? Not sure what went wrong with that. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

copy the link and paste in a browser address bar, DD7. That is the only way I could get it to work for me. I'll keep messing with it and try to get the links working.

http://www.themadlab.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=7089094 I put them in a gallery here. I tried to follow the tutorial to add a photo to my post, but it didn't work. One more try:
