On Halloween not only do the ghosts and goblins come out but also the tree spirits. Some of them are angry and hungry for revenge.
Since I had those paint cans and a couple of weeks left I decided to make a pillar out of them, but changed my mind after chasing a squirrel out of my flowers.
Here's the base...
To that I added some strip mache then pulp.
I forgot to take pictures after I sculpted the face. When it all dried, I used acrylic paints for the features. I took some bendable vine and cut some "fingers" which I duct taped on, then spray paint the vine brown. I hot glued it on the stump. For the teeth I used plastic fork tines and the dead squirrel on top is a dog toy. | |
