The Mad Lab

This is our new addition for 2009, an idea my husband Troy came up with a Pirate ship entry..or walk thru. After donating time to a charity event in Oct. The project turned into a group effort and with the help of our Sinister friends HallowSkeen and JustCallMeMurray we gave the Dragon's Jewel life, and we could not have completed the project without them, therefore a group entry it is!

Basicly started with some 2x4's and some foam board, nails screws, metal straps etc.

We added some woodgrain effects to make it have some depth...These turned out sooo great amazing what you can do with a wood burner and paint!

Then we did some tweeking when we got her home. We added the Dragon head to the top that breathes out "smoke". We got our fogger to run up thru the mask of the Dragon.

Added a captain and the larger Pirate to the top of the house and....

Then we added our Laser Vortex we made at a make-n-take a few months back, just to give it a "wonder whats in there" feel, and have we had some slow downs LOL!
