What makes your brain tick?? How does everyone come up with their projects once our Mad host announces the SEI for the month?

Do you always decide to make something that goes along with your particular theme?

Do you just suddenly see the final result in your head?

Most of the time for Enigma and I, it's a matter of what pops into our heads. It doesnt always have to be about a theme. Sometimes it's just stuff we like. Like when we made Galdius...we both love dragons, so it was easier to make him. Other times the SEI's drive us crazy!!!

So tell us what makes you decide what to create in your labs!!

When I first joined the Mad Lab on HS, I made whatever popped into my head.  But then I had some props that I had no intention of using!  Now I try to make something that fits into my theme this year, do I don't waste time and materials.

I have YET to make anything for The Mad Lab...if I had decided to make my "Orphan" mask a little earlier, I could have entered that into last months contest.

I HAVE had a few ideas though, just too busy to get around to creating them.  I try to stick with what I will use..but ANYTHING GOES.  If I can't think of anything for my current haunt...I just think creepy and evil...I can ALWAYS use creepy and evil.  lol

Well, sometimes it was whatever popped up! But towards the middle of the year we tried to think of something we could use for the house or outside, alot of what we did last year was for the Pirate theme. This last SEI, Cd's!!!  I am really wanting to get my kitchen spiced up more this year, and I was REALLY overthinking this, as I am in the shower BAM, it hits me!!! You'll just have to check it out and see it now!!! HAHA!

i made the buzzards nest last year at easter time from the markdown chicks and eggs, a slightly mangled vulture a friend had in her shed and a grapevine wreath. it turned out really cool, but we didn't use it in the trail.

it will probably never fit in anywhere, so Josh has it in the gameroom.
