I've see one online, it seems to be the same one everywhere:

http://www.amazon.com/Morris-Costumes-Beating-Heart-Prop/dp/B002KV3SFQ

I was going to get it, but I thought I would ask the experts:

1. Does this one work?  How well does it work?

2. Is there a better alternative?

Anyone?

Hey Jim! I used to sell this item but we had a lot of ppl a bit disappointed as they expected more from it. Here's the 411....

If you're familiar with the "moving hand" prop, they are very similar. Inside the heart is a mechanism that moves round and round. It is not quiet and sounds like a motor not like a "beat". The heart itself is not very realistic looking. Down side is that I haven't come across anything better.

So - it's not a high quality prop though it probably is worth the asking price. I recently tore apart one of my moving hands and plan to hack it.

If you really want to try it out drop me a line. I'll get it for you at my cost plus actual shipping.

I tried to send you a PM but it just goes to the home page when I click on it.  Can you let me know the price and how I can arrange payment?  I can buy it intwo weeks.:D

Thanks Doc!
