I'm not sure what has happened to the site, but it looks like the doctor is out for a while. There hasn't been a contest for 7 months, and messages go unanswered.

Still, here it is. I know some people are still out there using the tutorials and hoping to see a contest again.

I have not idea how many are left, but I thought maybe it would be productive if we had our own "contests". We could pick an object, the same as the old contests, and use the forums to post tutorials and vote for the winners. No prizes, I guess, but bragging rights!


Any takers?

Now that I think about it, my description of the saw blade is not descriptive enough. I'm away from home Saturday (coaching Lacrose) but Sunday morning, I'll augment my description with pictures/better description. Really easy to make, works well and is the talk of the street!

Digger,
Yep, the blade turns around-actually it is variable speed. Since the blade is powered by a tread mill, I mounted the main controls within reach of the victim. On/OFF-fast/slow with a kill switch for safety.
