About Me
When I was five, my dad took me to my first haunted house. From that moment on I have been a halloween fanatic. I have passed it on to my children and I hope that one day, they will pass it on to their families. 7 years ago we started our first yard haunt "A howling in the woods" and it has been growing and going ever since. I work as a Teacher's aid and I'm known as the "halloween lady" in my cirlcle. I'm the house in the nieghborhood that the kid's think is the "coolest" (I'm really the only one on my block that does anything, so that title wasn't really hard to obtain) LOL I just want to bring the good old fashion nostalgic halloween back that I remember as a child to the kid's of today. I NEVER went "trunk or treating"or to the mall for halloween like the kid's do today! So I've made it my mission to bring a new halloween awarness to the masses! (so to speak) An awareness that it is NOT the devils birthday, and it is NOT evil. It is a celebration of life and family, and good times! The saddest thing ever is when I see a dark porch on Oct 31st. I have made the best friends in the halloween community, and think that there are no greater people anywhere than those who share my passion to celebrate the best day of the year!!! ~Blessed1~ Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. I'm not sure what has happened to the site, but it looks like the doctor is out for a while. There hasn't been a contest for 7 months, and messages go unanswered.
Still, here it is. I know some people are still out there using the tutorials and hoping to see a contest again. I have not idea how many are left, but I thought maybe it would be productive if we had our own "contests". We could pick an object, the same as the old contests, and use the forums to post tutorials and vote for the winners. No prizes, I guess, but bragging rights! Any takers? |
